Every role on the stage and in film can be considered physically as a type of dance. Dance shapes the body and its spatial perception of relationships. In addition to language articulation, the expression of movement is the second most important tool an actor has to tell a story. Dance arouses a lust for life and vitality in both audiences and the actor him/herself. Dance is the realisation of inspiration in movement. The most basic dance there is, is predefined by the way our bodies are built.
